I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker psychotherapist, with a private solo practice, and I hold these certifications: World Association of Sand Therapy Professionals Registered Sand Therapist with a separate certification in Sand Tray Therapy from the Sand Tray Training Institute of New Mexico; Registered Circle of Security Parenting™ Course Facilitator, Registered Play Therapist™, and a Clinical Social Work Supervisor.

I'm also an avid champion of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Associative Metaphorical Imagery, Creative Image Expression, and Japanese Psychology.  I use each of these in my practice with both children and adults. I enjoy facilitating dynamic workshops, trainings, and study groups for mental health professionals, agencies, and organizations. Whether it's supporting clinicians in refining their therapeutic approaches or conducting workshops for business teams, I bring a blend of creative expression and evidence-based techniques to foster growth and engagement.

In order to serve you best, I'm dedicated to learning, and I maintain memberships with these professional organizations:  the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science, the Association for Play Therapy, the Behavioral Health Professionals Association, Circle of Security International, the National Association of Social Workers, the ToDo Institute, and the World Association of Sand Therapy Professionals. 

I offer counseling services virtually and am licensed in North Carolina, New Mexico, and Florida.

As part of my ongoing contributions to the field, my article, The Emergence of Acceptance and Commitment Sandtray Therapy: A Novel Framework, was recently published in the World Journal for Sand Therapy Practice, introducing a new integration of ACT and Sand Tray Therapy.
