Learn ACT in an experiential way.
A basic knowledge of ACT is recommended.
The Portland Model is used as a framework to study Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
In this setting, that model functions as a study group rather than a peer consultation group.
Practice ACT skills.
Explore use of ACT to treat various conditions and populations.
Present and discuss cases.
A clear outlined agenda is provided to you prior to each meeting.
YOU form a group of 6 - 8 individuals.
Meets monthly for two hours per study session.
We'll need at least two established times/days of the week for meeting to choose from to move forward.
Your financial commitment depends on the number of people in the group.
*Price per participant decreases as number of individuals in the group increases. My fee to operate the study group is $420 per month.
While the CEUs are not endorsed, a certificate of completion showing the number of hours you attended will be provided.
(In North Carolina, a study group is not required to gain endorsement, and qualifies for CEUs.)
